It's not even an appealing card, its just a pikachu with mail and a mailman hat ffs. I can't comprehend the FOMO required to buy a card like this at this price. It's not the first time hype has caused stupid prices, and its not going to be the last. There are many pikachu promos with higher rarity and better design/artwork than this one that have sold for muuuuuch much less. There are like thousands of pikachu promos throughout the years this is not even A tier on the list of those. This card will have a PSA 10 pop in the hundreds within 6 months. And the people buying are going to be stuck holding the bag. The person shilling this card is taking advantage of people's lack of ability to process information. Then there is the majority of people who have these who haven't submitted yet. A lot of people probably submitted at a slower speed than express and their orders at PSA are backed up so their cards are not in the registry. It could be 10k, it could be 100k or anywhere inbetween. Hardly "damn near impossible." And we don't know how many of these were printed. 12 percent of the cards submitted so far through PSA have received a 10.
